RenderTarget - Topmost and Leftmost pixels

Dec 10, 2011 at 1:06 AM

I have dropped the Testbed code into my project and can successfully render a light just fine, but the topmost and leftmost pixels of the render are not being affected by the ambient lighting.  I haven't changed anything from the Testbed code.  What am I missing?

It sounds like you may be drawing some things after applying the light map.

If you are using the "occluded" shadow type, there may be a light placed directly on top of a hull, causing that hull area of that hull to be completely lit.

It's also possible that something entirely different is happened, but I would need to see source code and/or a picture to be of much more help.

I found my problem.  I was clearing the backbuffer both before krypton pre-rendered and after.  Thanks for a quick response to help though!

No problem! We're working on a new version of Krypton that will hopefully be much easier to integrate into games.
